Victor Celac

Victor Celac is a scientific researcher at the Institute of Linguistics „Iorgu Iordan – Al. Rosetti” (Bucharest), having as fields of interest Romance linguistics, history and formation of the Romanian language, etymology (origin and history of words), Romanian lexicography and lexicology. He studied at the University of Iasi (bachelor’s degree), then at the University of Bucharest (master’s and PhD degree). He did a one-year postdoctoral internship at the ATILF / CNRS Laboratory (Nancy, France).
