Oliviu Felecan
Oliviu Felecan is Prof. Dr. Hab. in the Faculty of Letters at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. He has written widely on the field of onomastics including six books as (co-)author, thirteen volumes as (co-)editor, and over one hundred studies (in journals, proceedings, and books from fifteen countries). Professor Felecan is a member of the following organizations: the International Council of Onomastic Sciences (ICOS) and the ICOS Bibliography Group; American Name Society (ANS); The Names Society of Southern Africa (NSA); Society for Name Studies in Britain and Ireland (SNSBI); Société de Linguistique Romane (SLiR); and ICA-IGU Commission on Toponymy. As of January 2019, he is the Editor-in-Chief of Onoma, the journal of the International Council of Onomastic Sciences; in addition, he is a member of the Editorial Boards of other journals: Rivista Italiana di Onomastica (RIOn, Roma), Onomàstica. Anuari de la Societat d'Onomàstica (Barcelona), Onomastica (Kraków), Linguistique Balcanique (Sofia), Revista Onomástica desde América Latina (Brazil), Studii și cercătări de onomastică și lexicologie (SCOL, Craiova).
