Abstract:
The article stresses the specificity of toponyms of entopic origin. We analyzed categories of topical names which come from geographical terms, having a regional or local circulation. Modes of denomination in entopical toponomastics are also discussed. It is also underlined that onymical peculiarities of regional character do not affect the Bessarabian toponymical system, which, due to both its contents and form, has remained common Romanian.
