| Abstract: | [Considerations on the utility of the lexical inventories] In this paper we approach the issue of the lexical inventories developed on the common reference levels used in the case of the foreign languages, emphasising their importance for the Romanian as a foreign language (RFL). We begin by presenting the concept and continue arguing the real necessity of these materials. In the end we briefly present the publications that already exist in this field and which could be used as starting point in the process of developing a lexical inventory on the common reference levels. |
