Abstract:
The present paper aims to explore the availability of ideas and concepts Eugenio Coșeriu discussed in his translation studies. We base our research on a corpus consisting of 24 books published in the field of translation studies during 2010-2016. We expect that the exploration of this corpus will provide us answers to the following questions: Is Coșeriu still accepted as an important name in the translation field? Which of Coșeriu’s papers do researchers discuss more? Which of Coșeriu’s concepts are most discussed by researchers today?
Our main objective is to find valid arguments that Eugenio Coșeriu is still an important theorist in the translation field and it is important for translators, translation professors, and translation students to know and use his ideas in translation.
