Abstract:[Linguistics and tridimensionality]
The present paper represents an original, dynamic, spatial perspective on the behavior of the adjective while it changes its grammatical category.
It features a tridimensional mathematical model which illustrates the passage of the adjective from the free combination formula to utterly free forms.
The tridimensional mathematical model is conceived in its maximal complexity and is carried out on 55 basic adjectives.
Employing mathematical modelling as a working methodology was based on the practical and theoretical results, and the yielded mathematical model reveals manifold orders in the category of the adjective and better distinguishes the correlation between the parameters characterizing this process, namely: the degree of blocking, the degree of freeing and the dimension of the blocked constituent.
Key words:adjective, free combination, mathematical modelling, blocked structures, tridimensionality
