| Abstract: | [A diachronic perspective on the legal and administrative terminology of Greek origins in several specialized monolingual dictionaries] Setting as a starting point the consideration that dictionaries preserve and transmit information (Rey 2011: 11), but also describe the words’ destiny (Dotoli 2011: 26), we provide a series of observations regarding the frequency the Greek loans and calques imported into Romanian legal and administrative terminology which are recorded in several monolingual dictionaries published between 1815–2012. |
