| Abstract: | The study deals with Arghezi’s Horas, which appeared in 1939. The eight horas display an unprecedented poetic formula and an alert rhythm which is rendered, at the level of versification, through short verses, of 7-8 syllables. By a minute stylistic analyses of the eight horas, the author concludes that, with the help of this atypical literary formula, the poet rehabilitates the game, as a fundamental lyrical attitude. |
