Abstract:Management education has proved its benefits encouraging both students and faculties to approach active learning in global contexts and to venture beyond cultural and linguistic barriers in order to gain additional perspectives and knowledge. Multicultural communication bridges existing curricular limits providing integrated study environments and new dynamics to subjects for internationalizing institutional profiles. The Culture Dimension builds intercultural knowledge in wider contexts, develops cross-cultural communication skills and motivates for further study of other countries, regions, and minorities. The Environment Dimension targets EU integration for accessing international certifications and for enhancing visibility. The Language Dimension improves overall target language competence, builds interactional communication skills, deepens awareness of mother tongue and target idioms, and develops pluri-lingual interests and attitudes. The Content Dimension focuses on opportunities to study content by various perspectives, with subject-specific terminology. The Learning Dimension complements individual strategies, diversifies methods and forms of practice thus increasing motivation. Multicultural communication in management incorporates thinking skills and competences relevant to the community as well as skills for the future jobs, not mere content. It opens perspectives for work mobility as employers will hire people speaking additional languages, with intercultural assets and multilingual abilities that facilitate international performance in a global community.
