Digital humanities science has been in the last years a challenge for the academic research. Born in the middle of the XXth century as an innovative, computerized method for investigation of literature or linguistics, the new discipline rapidly defined itself as fundamental, with serious theoretical background, self-reflexive, and with methodologies that keep up with the growth and the globalization of informatics. In our paper we intend to analyse the manner in which this approach is reflected in the Francophone and English programs studies, from two perspectives - the theory and its applications at a undergraduate, post graduate and doctoral level. We also present the main objectives of the first digital humanities center in Romania, DigiHUBB.
