Abstract:[Onymic phrasemes in (de)onymic micro-discourses. A contrastive German – Romanian interlinguistic perspective]
This study aims at analysing contrastively onymic phrasemes in German and Romanian, emphasising the phenomenon of deonymisation. This analysis presents idiomatic expressions formed with proper nouns as deonymic micro-discourses. The thesis of this study starts from the idea that proper nouns, seen as phraseological elements, suffered an important loss or, better said, they have been transformed from a semantic point of view. This can be explained by the fact that nouns do not refer anymore to the persons from whom they are borrowed, but they become symbols for certain behavioural systems.
Key words:onymic phraseme, deonymisation, anthroponym, semantic transformation, micro-discourse
Language: German
