Abstract:As a general rule, it is acknowledged the fact that the intelligence from the region of Moldova of the 18th and the 19th centuries was formed during studies mainly in Vienna, Berlin, Heidelberg, Leipzig, Halle and other German cities, so that they all spoke German fluently. This means that the German theatre troupes found during their itinerations a linguistic competent public. Also the theatre in Iasi had the inspiration of finding a German theater troupe led by a woman, who performed well but not for a very long time.
