Abstract: | Mihai Tican-Rumano (1895–1967) published more than fourty writings in which he brought into light themes such as: culture, identity, civilization, destiny, voice of humanity from both Romania and Spain (in this way, we mention his literary works: Nopţi barceloneze. Barrio Chino; Corrida). He lived in Spain between 1924–1931 and there he began his literary career with the book: Viaţa albului în ţara negrului (1927). He founded the newspaper “Dacia” (1929), where important names such as Nicolae Iorga, Liviu Rebreanu, Cezar Petrescu, Ion Minulescu, Victor Eftimiu published different articles. In our paper, we are going to reveal Mihai Tican-Rumano’s contribution to the development of both Romanian and Spanish literature. |
