| Abstract: | The use of computers, smartphones and tablets by a large number of laypeople leads to the assimilation of some strictly specialized terms in every day communication. Some of the terms are registered by specialized dictionaries and some are not, although they are frequently used in mass media and other texts such as blogs. The aim of the paper is to identify the terms that belong to the paradigm of the term SISTEM DE OPERARE [= Operating System], and show that unspecialized text are useful in identifying new terms that at some point should be included in terminological dictionaries. |
