Abstract:
The present study analyses the features of general extenders that are specific to Romanian language. Starting from a large corpus of formal and informal spoken language, we examine the formal organization of the extenders, the frequency of certain forms, the context of occurrence and the reference term of such extenders. We claim the existence of a number of features specific only to Romanian.
