Abstract:In the present article entitled “Poetical Configurations. A textological analysis of the essayistic discourse”, by means of textual semiosis, we recovered the significations of the poetic consciousness activated by the metaphor “an interior herbivorous of the grass”- „un ierbivor interior ierbii”, which becomes the central isotopy of Stănescu’s essays, as well as of his poetic works, since the metapoetic discourse (present here through the essay) foreruns the creative act (poetry).
The isotopy of poetic consciousness has proven to be a Faustic project, which we have analyzed shortly from the perspective of the topophily. The most important conclusions for the analysis of the poetic code of Stănescu’s essays are: (a) the instances of the poetic and essayistic self by the polyphonic configuration of the auctorial consciousness: the empirical instance, self-awareness, cultural consciousness, criticist consciousness, aesthetic consciousness, poetic consciousness with its two aspects: imagination and perception; (b) the reading grid for Stănescu’s essays targeting the perception and interpretation of his poetic works.
Stănescu’s essay is a metatext disciplined by poetic consciousness.
Key words:metapoetic discourse, textual semiosis, narrative instances, impersonal author, auctorial voice, polyphonic configuration, poetic consciousness
