Abstract: | The flow model by Csikszentmihalyi (1975) proposes that flow occurs when there is a balance between the challenge of an activity and the own skills of the person. Recent years have seen a steady interest in the number of publications about flow experience in the language classroom. Since the beginning of the flow research, it has been expected that flow is related to performance, and several studies have indeed reported this relationship. This study was designed to investigate the students’ of flow experience in project-based German lesson as a second foreign language. It focuses on the relationship between flow experiences and foreign language learning achievement. Results also showed that there is a significant relationship between the flow experience and the foreign language learning achievement with the project-based German lesson. It is clear that flow exists with a high and positive influence to the achievement in foreign language classrooms. |
