Abstract:The chromatic palette, which is used as a main instrument in art, is also present in many specialized languages (literature, economy, etc.). This work proposes the analysis of some syntagms that contain chromatic determinants (white, black, red, blue, green, pink) and the way in which the chromatic palette is represented in the field of tourism.
The presence of the terminological syntagms has been noticed in specialized texts, but their identification in normative sources is a complex task.
Another important aspect to be looked into is the uni- or bidirectional interdisciplinary relation between the two fields of study (chromatics and tourism).
The originality of the syntagms that we bring forth for analysis consists in the manner in which elements are combined, the fields they come from and the consequences that they have on specialized meaning.
