| Abstract: | The article is centered around the issue of human rights and the biblical foundations of the problem. Fundamental human rights such as freedom, nondiscrimination, the need for protection and asylum for refugees and the rightful retribution of work are commented upon within the interpretative framework of the biblical tradition. |
