Abstract: | If there are any tales which have achieved popularity around the globe, The Little Red Ridding Hood would perhaps be at the top of the list. Story tales, by nature, tend to be malleable. Let’s take a journey with Little Red Ridding Hood to Spain. Due to its proximity to France, it is easy to consider the great repercussions of this tale. However, it is certain that it is very difficult to know and to discuss the end of the story. Many instances of doubt arise throughout (without mentioning the changes of vocabulary…). The reason for this difference, at the level of its structure and content, is unveiled throughout this article. Due to so many changes, we must determine the essence of the tale that endures to this very day in Spain (this essence is extracted from the rewritings of the story). |
