| Abstract: | The idea of European identity is primarily a methodological convention, an abstract concept often bare of factual coverage. The present study aims to examine some of the criteria commonly used by theoreticians to justify European unity, given the fact that cultural diversity is not in any way impeding the construction of a united Europe. |
