En langue roumaine actuelle, le formant eco- est productif. On constitue avec lui plusieurs composés dans les langages spécialisés (médecine, biologie), mais aussi dans la langue commune. Cet article présente la distribution des étymons d’origine grecque dans des emprunts qui sont entrés dans la langue roumaine du français ou de l'anglais, ainsi que le mode de fonctionnement du lexème indépendant.
[The Prefix Eco- in Current Romanian] The prefix eco- is productive in current Romanian, in common language, but mostly in specialized languages (medicine, biology). The paper studies the distribution of etymons of Greek origin in the borrowings which have enriched the Romanian language via French or English. We also discuss the functioning of this prefix in Romanian as an autonomous lexeme.
