The main objective of this presentation more closely investigate upon the concept of code, following its history throughout Europe. After a brief historical survey enabling us to explain the concepts of “code” and “codifying”, our purpose is to determine a few criteria which seen to be intrinsic to the concept of “code” and to its result, the codifying.
L’objectif principal de cet exposé est de cerner de plus près le concept de code à travers son histoire en Europe. Après un bref survol historique expliquant les notions de «code» et de «codification», il s’agira de déterminer quelques critères qui paraissent immanents au concept de code et à son résultat, la codification.
