| Abstract: | Given the fact that religious experience is closely connected to language, since both language and religion are crucial elements in the shaping up of individual identities, the paper analyses several possible connections between language and religion, in order to deal more at length with religious language. Religious language can be analysed from several points of view, among which the symbolic, the narrative and the anthropological. The paper discusses mainly the notion of religious language as narrative, based on recent research in the field. |
