| Abstract: | In the story Two Smiles, the author describes the extremely difficult case of the patient Marie, a very beautiful woman, suffering from a severe mental depression and subsequently a very painful maxillofacial accident. To solve the case, Dr. Yalom trained Dr. Z., a dentist surgeon, and the hypnosis therapist consultant Mike C. Although Marie, Mike C. and Dr. Yalom were together for one hour at a hypnotherapy session, each of them lived a much different experience that was impossible to predict. |
