Semantics has always been a cause of trouble for both linguists and philosophers. The author of this text is considering the relationship of semantics with concepts, topic also dealt with by L. Depecker. Is it necessary to separate the significant from the concept? What would be the best time to do it during the analysis? Where is the border line between these two items - the significant and the concept? What theoretical and practical advantages would there be?
