  • Toponymic structures with numerals are less frequent than those with nouns and adjectives, but they are still highly important for the knowledge of the popular denomination system. This is why the hereby article analyses the segment of place names, from the point of view of involved numerals, both structurally and stylistically, and in terms of the involvement of human imagination in the denomination process.
  • Cu toate că sunt mai puţin frecvente decât cele în care apar substantive şi adjective, construcţiile toponimice cu numerale sunt la fel de importante ca şi primele în ceea ce priveşte cunoaşterea sistemului popular de denominaţie. Din acest motiv, în articolul de faţă se analizează respectivul segment al numelor de locuri, din perspectiva tipului numeralelor participante, structural şi stilistic, precum şi sub aspectul implicării imaginaţiei umane în procesul denominativ.
