Starting from comparative modern vs. postmodern philosophical traditions, this paper will explore issues surrounding educational mimesis as relationships between personal mimesis vs. significant mimesis, between texts – books and images in visual literacy in regard to theory and praxis. Perspectives are sought from those engaged in the fields of education, visual arts and literature, on issues related to the interconnections generated from intertextuality upon Jacques Derrida’s philosophy of deconstruction, between visual literacy and cultural identity.
Având ca punct de plecare tradiţii filosofice comparative moderne şi postmoderne, articolul de faţă va explora aspecte privitoare la mimesisul educţional ca relaţie între mimesisul personal şi mimesisul significant, între manuale şi imagini în literalitatea visuală în raport cu teoria şi practica. Se urmăresc perspectivele angrenate în domeniul educaţiei, artelor vizuale şi literaturii, vizând aspecte legate de interconexiuni generate de intertextualitatea aplicată filosofiei deconstructive a lui Jacques Derrida, între literalitatea visuală şi identitatea culturală.
