The essay discusses the life and works of the poet Agatha Grigorescu-Bacovia. The analysis of her work takes into account all the critical bibliography regarding the author; among the main aspects of her poetry which are unveiled there are the Bacovian bovarism, the diaphanous structure of the imagination and sensibility; the conflict between the genuine nature of the poet and her project consisting in a deliberate ’Baconianization’ is also followed along the chronological evolution of her works.

Analiza operei sale are în vedere întreaga bibliografie critică asupra autoarei; printre aspectele principale revelate de poezia sa se enumeră bovarismul bacovian, structura diafană a imaginaţiei şi sensibilitatea; conflictul dintre natura obişnuită a poetei şi proiectul ei constând într-o baconizare deliberată este urmărit de-a lungul evoluţiei cronologice a creaţiilor sale.
