Abstract: | An assistant of miracles, poet Vasile Dan takes part to them by a floral and enthusiastic language, but with a sensibility that is elutriated by library filters. He warms up the elementary by refined sensation and with a sensibility poured in ritual patterns. Ioan Alexandru the hymn writer comes immediately to help, according to the foundations set by Blaga, and provides the poet with a recipe of bliss; using it, Vasile Dan operates a translation of the world into delicacy and, concomitantly, of the poetic ego into a resolutely angelical condition; but also of the language into euphemism and adorned style, into candor and vegetal state. The metaphor exults and exalts, but on strictly delicate staves; it transfers the materiality into a melodiously state and they become, as in the case of Adrian Popescu, a language of confession; the entire world is, eventually, a Gospel, a deposition in the favor of the transcendent and the immanence hums of the divine presence; the communion is related to the condition, to the fundaments, the franciscanism becomes obligatory and the translator quality of the poet – compulsory. His ecstasy is a vocation of humility, his syntax – a pure exclamation of the shiver, a confession by elation. |
