| Abstract: | Matei Vișniec lives among his heroes, sometimes because he wants it, other times to identify with them, and unlike Pirandello, he finds himself alone, waiting for his heroes. Conceived like a moment, an idea, the short plays by Matei Vișniec are similar to the quantum physics particles, bearers of energy. The author does not seem to want to adopt a unique formula except for The Man with ... the Apple, The Man with the Horse, The Man with a Single Wing, The Man Who Speaks Gently, The Man of the Circle, etc. The Voices ... in the Dark, in the Brilliant Light, the characters duplicating themselves or travelling in other plays, among several acts. |
