| Abstract: | The lexicographer’s mission is to constantly update the definition of the words contained in the explanatory dictionaries, in order to give the best and most accurate definitions to the readers interested in the status and functioning of language. The mere correlation of the data contained in the dictionaries of general use with the specialized lexicons is not sufficient for this update. It is essential to systematically go through the terminological dictionaries or, more efficiently, to create a team of experts in areas that provide words to the basic vocabulary through the so-called general knowledge terminology. |
