Abstract: | In the Modern Age, Romanian countries had many cultural contacts – mediated or direct - with Europe. The direct ones were the most numerous due to the Romanian students who studied in the great European capitals (Paris and Vienna). The generation of the youth of 1848 and that of the Junimea literary circle were determinative in the Romanian culture relation with the European cultural ideas. Many European ideas were transposed in the Romanian society of the three Romanian countries. While in Wallachia and Moldavia are preferred the cultural ideas from France, in Transylvania can be noticed a predilection for the German ones. |
