| Abstract: | The author of this study proposes a reevaluation of the 1944-1965 stage in the Romanian literature, a period misrepresented in point of the realities it comprised because of the brutal intervention of the political element into the cultural life in our country. The official image, shaped up during five decennia of communist totalitarianism, needs to be amended and reconfigured especially concerning this initial stage, through detailed, methodic and thorough studies, connected to related knowledge domains, thanks to which the horizon under analysis can be put into light from diverse angles. The article highlights the main characteristic aspects concerning the epoch under investigation and the priority landmarks of this new research. The study is developed based on a projective component, and will be rewritten, in the future, in more ample chapters. |
