| Abstract: | The present paper is x-raying a number of three prison testimonies belonging to three Romanian Greek-Catholic prelates: a cardinal, a priest-professor and a simple minister. The testimonies signed by these three are documents of both sufferance and enlightening. These texts depict and revive horrors, but they feed themselves with a certain ethos of sufferance Christification, they would feed themselves with a pious feeling of self-sacrifice and also with a particular devotion of prayer and of enlightening through sufferance. |
