| Abstract: | This article focuses on the transformation’s stages of two contradictory characters. The first character Conrad Moricand is an evil and egocentric nature, passing through a process of „the subjective transformation of personality decrease” (C. Jung), the second „friend” is the writer character Henry Miller, a naive nature, opened and honest that access to a „subjective transformation in terms of personality enlargement”. Two opposite characters will join together for a short time determined by different interests and goals, but will quickly break, forever. |
