| Abstract: | May we discuss about Aromanians as a group separated from their common ethnic habitat, or as a Romanized Greek population? Is their language a Romanian dialect, or a distinct idiom? Taking into account the lack of historical evidence, language turns to be the central point for orientation. In my presentation, I refer to a whole list of common grammatical and lexical elements that have been included in a current Aromanian grammar. I hope it will be useful not only for scholars, but also for teachers and for the population of areas in which Aromanians live at present. |
