The issue of how the language is used in everyday life marked the specialists’ topic of discussions until the last decades of the twentieth century. On this regard, the article is an argumentative strategy for analyzing the media text according to the tools a linguistic theory of speaking. The content made a review of the main trends in the theory of text linguistic as such, an explanation of a possible model for analyzing the speech in mass-media. Although it is only a theoretical perspective for the issue, it might be considered a point of view for a real application in a data base created by media text. Each topic in the review has emphasized the implications involved in the analysis of a media text and the current trends of the theoretical background for a dialogue analysis.
