| Rezumat: | We have considered as a starting point of our analysis a question deriving from an ontological perspective on translation in Le Mot sablier by francophone writer Dumitru Tsepeneag: What does translation mean for Tsepeneag? Then, how can the practice of translation help the writer and the reader to better understand the mechanisms implied by the linguistic, physic and psychic transfer from one language and one culture to another (Romanian – French)? And the second orientation of our study: We have asked ourselves whether we have to deal with a failure in the transfer or with a permanent intercultural training. What are the steps undergone by the author in the acculturation process? We will thus try to answer some of the questions raised by the problematic of translation as interlingual, intralingual, interpsychic and intercultural transfer in the experimental work Le Mot sablier by Dumitru Tsepeneag. |
