Daiana Felecan

Daiana Felecan is Associate Professor with Habilitation at the Faculty of Letters, North University Centre of Baia Mare, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (UTCN). As of 2014, she is a doctoral supervisor in the field of philology, within the Doctoral School in the Humanities, at UTCN.

She has published six books and more than ninety studies and articles in specialised journals in Romania and abroad. She has participated in national and international conferences and congresses in Austria, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Italy, South Africa, the Republic of Moldova, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Zimbabwe and the United Kingdom.

She was the manager of a CNCS research project called Unconventional Romanian Anthroponyms in European Context: Formation Patterns and Discursive Function (103/25.10.2011). She was also a member of the research teams of two other CNCS projects.
