I have been a researcher at the grammar department of the ‘Iorgu Iordan – Al. Rosetti’ Institute of Linguistics from Bucharest, since 2001. I worked at the Academic Grammar of Romanian (2005, 2008), with Valeria Guțu Romalo, the coordinator of the two volumes. I wrote the chapters about interjections, causative structures and small clauses. I went to several research visits to CNRS (France), during 2004 and 2011. In 2011, I defended my doctoral thesis, titled Acordul în limba română [Agreement in Romanian], published in 2012 by The University of Bucharest. Afterwards, I published several chapters in other references grammars of Romanian: the chapter Vocatives (with Virginia Hill) in A Reference Grammar of Romanian, edited by Carmen Dobrovie-Sorin and Ion Giurgea, published in 2013 by John Benjamins Publishing Company; the chapters Secondary Predication, Coordination, Agreement, and Derivational Morphology, in The Grammar of Romanian, edited by Gabriela Pană Dindelegan, published in 2013 by Oxford University Press; the chapter Coordination and coordinating conjunctions, in The Syntax of Old Romanian, edited by Gabriela Pană Dindelegan, published in 2016 at Oxford University Press. I participated in the National Council of the Audio-visual Media’s project Monitorizare privind calitatea limbii române la posturile de radio şi televiziune, during 2007–2016, under Rodica Zafiu’s supervision. I also participated in several projects of computational linguistics, developed by Softwin and The Institute of Linguistics in Bucharest. Between 2013 and 2016 I developed a postdoctoral project titled Syntactic Doubling in Romanian. A Historical and Comparative Approach, under Ion Giurgea’s supervision, financed by UEFISCDI (code PN-II-RU-PD-2012-3-0490). I am a co-author of Formarea cuvintelor în limba română, IV. Sufixele. Derivarea nominală și adverbială (Partea I) [Word formation in Romanian. IV, Suffixes. Nominal and Adverbial Derivation], coordinated by Marina Sala, published in 2015 by the Romanian Academy.
