| Abstract: | This paper aims to analyze the titles in women media according to: (i) their grammatical component (i.e. titles consisting of a single term, or of a phrase; narrative titles; assertive, interrogative or imperative titles; titles in the form of a statement, or of several independent sentences); (ii) their lexico-semantic component (generic terms, proper names, stereotypes, digits, colloquial expressions, acronyms, words recently formed in Romanian language or neologic borrowings). The paper also makes an inventory of the main figures of speech used in the media titles (phonetic, syntactic and semantic figures of speech). |
