Abstract:The study analyzes some low level specialized language texts, where the morphems ECO- and BIO- are updated. In these texts, both ECO- and BIO- morphems are used without any difference in meaning, therefore the semantic and contextual specialization becomes difficult. This study shows that ECO- and BIO- become contextual terms, but nevertheless they are still morphems taken as environmental-related terms.
In the end, we state that the context is very important to convey the specialized meaning, as well as the remarkable conceptual mobility, considering the connection with a relatively independent scientific field.
