Abstract:[The Diachronic Principle in the Edification of the Literary Norm] Generally conceived as a cultural instrument, the literary aspect cannot exist and function unless it is structured according to well-defined and rigorously respected principles. Like in any other social domain, the pressures of concurrent entities are rather inclusive. Their necessity to coexist can also trigger the adequacy to alterity as well as the looseness (laxity) in the enactment of the literary norm’s own structural-functional principles. The real solution to preserve its identity is to firmly assume a set of principles of which the main one is the diachronic principle.
