| Abstract: | [The article – two centenaries of history] Our study proposes a concise description of the history of the article in the grammars of Romanian. The evolution of the perspectives on this topic is a complicated one, in agreement with the development of thinking and of the language sciences. We reveal the different perspectives on the article, from the structural to the functional schools of thinking, which correlate language and communication, a fact which throws into prominence the role of clause integrators of the units generically known as „articles”. |
