Abstract:[Recent Chinese lexical borrowings]
Due to a huge distance between Romania and China, a linguistic influence of this language is not a large phenomenon. Yet, there are some lexical novelties, identified in our current press, which entered Romanian via other languages such as English and French. Our article deals with the study of these borrowings from an etymological and stylistical point of view. The influence of the language is far behind the economic and social connections between the two countries, since a large community of Chinese established in Romania a decade ago and became an important factor in commerce and gastronomy.
Key words:language dynamic, borrowings, Chinese elements, gastronomy influence
