Abstract:
The article shows the importance of the preacher Ilie Miniat, whose sermons where translated into Romanian by the Metropolitan Neofit Criteanul in 1742. His way of preaching was very appreciated in the XVIIIth century, due to the artistic and intellectual relevance that he conveyes by his words.
