Abstract:
The present paper deals with the specific problems of phrases in Romanian, that is their anomalies or functional deviations. The author pays a special attention to the problem of prepositional phrases, arguing that some of the normal lexical, semantic and syntactic combinations can emerge into phrases due to the opacity of the syntactic and semantic relations specific of an obsolete syntactic pattern.
