Abstract:The article reveals some aspects which deal with the oral speech expressiveness. The author points out some elements connected with the oral speech expressiveness, including some hierarchies. In spite of different taxonomies related to this phenomenon, the author mentions more types of oral speech expressiveness and its multiple verbal nuclei. Different linguistic layers of oral speech have various levels of expressiveness (low, medium, high). So, multiple forms of oral speech can be decoded differently, depending on the cultural competence of the person, as well as on the way the person intercepts it (major, poor, low expressiveness). Thus, the levels and types of oral speech expressiveness constitute the basis of verbal communication and reflect the national mentalities.
