Abstract:This article seeks to emphasize the importance of Romanian Sign Language research for the improvement of the communication between the Deaf and the hearing in general and for the education of deaf children and training of interpreters in particular. The article also briefly presents the work we have undertaken in this respect, pointing out several theoretical aspects related to the morphology of Romanian Sign Language.
